Oxted Circular

This hike is a wonderful circular walk that takes you back in time. The villages on this route appear in the Domesday Book, and they are full of timber-framed buildings and charm. But soon we climb up to Greensand Ridge and to the inspiring Limpsfield Common, where even the 1000 year history of the villages pales into insignificance. With stunning views over the Surrey Hills, and carpets of bluebells in Spring, this is the perfect walk to simply stop and reconnect with all that is truly important.

Epping Forest

Research shows that spending just 15 minutes enclosed by trees lowers cortisol levels (the stress hormone), boosts immune response and reduces anxiety. The 6,000 acres of ancient woodland that comprises Epping Forest is the perfect place to “bathe” the mind, body and soul under the spring canopy regrowth. Despite being less than 15 miles from central London, over 60% of Epping Forest is listed as Sites of Special Scientific Interest, and its ancient trees are the perfect backdrop for shinrin-yoku meditation.
